MAXhealth is looking to hire a full-time Phlebotomist for our Bradenton- Cortez Rd location to include clinical aspects of drawing blood from patients, verifying documentation, labeling samples, performing all aspects of phlebotomy.

Starting Salary $18.00 an hour and up
Locations: Bradenton- Cortez Rd
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION
- Phlebotomist certification or licensure with 1 year of experience.
- Venipuncture- Must be able to draw a patient every 10 minutes.
- Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
- Sample Processing
- Accurate Sample Labeling
- Accurate Order Entry

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PHLEBOTOMIST
As a Phlebotomist, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. Daily tasks include drawing blood from patients and donors, labeling and storing blood containers for subsequent processing, assembling equipment (i.e tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices) and verifying identities of patients or donors.
