Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Training Staff:
- Manage all aspects of training for the company
- Train all staff – both incoming staff and on-going continuous training
- Facilitate learning through a variety of developmental methods, including in-classroom, virtual training,and any continuing training sessions
- Increase management and leadership pipeline in company
- Utilize a variety of instructional methodologies to include self-directed learning modules interactivemultimedia or other technology-based tools and techniques and determine the most cost-effectiveprocesses
- Manage the delivery and / or facilitation of training. Support the processes associated with analyzing,designing, and developing all training initiatives. Maintain a focus on sustainable blended learningprograms
- Maintain open communication and strong relationships with all management
- Coordinate the administration and facilitation of all training sessions with HR and Hiring Managers toensure timely transition from point of hire
Development of Training Materials and Systems:
- Create and develop any needed training materials, (i.e. manuals, etc)
- Conduct formal Training Needs Analysis to determine “gaps” in current vs. desired performance andmake recommendations in “best practices” to close gaps
- Organize and develop project plans for training and adult learning methods
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to determine business impact on projected costs associated withdeveloping and implementing proposed instructional methodologies, self-directed learning modules,interactive multimedia or other technology-based tools and techniques
- Manage training design and development, maintenance, program roll out, and tracking
- Evaluate training participation, training application, and training implementation to adjust futuretraining strategies accordingly
- Develop partnerships with senior leaders and subject matter experts to aide in developing andfacilitating training programs
- Create, manage, and maintain the training budget as well as all training facilities and equipment
Personal Development:
- Maintain an understanding of most current industry trends and developments
- Coordinate and attend professional training and developmental courses
- Subscribe to Training Magazine and complete at least 5 hours of professional training and developmentseminars and/or workshops per month
Reporting:
- Compose a system to track and organize effectiveness of training methods by understanding businessneeds and analyzing training metrics
- Support the company through needs analysis, solution creation and project management activities
- Maintain and organize all data to present to General Manager and Hiring Managers
- Analyze data from reports, evaluate trends, and develop strategies to meet business needs
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience designing and implementing employee development programs
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to participate in initiatives according to business needs and strategy
- Strong working knowledge and experience in Instructional Design, use of assessments, and evaluation of training programs for adult learners
- Demonstrated ability for presentation/facilitation skills required
