What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private-Duty Nurse position at Maxim Healthcare Services?
Maxim Healthcare Services is looking to add several Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to our team to work with homecare patients in the Northern Massachusetts area. We are hiring nurturing, caring, and reliable individuals who enjoy working with patients on a 1:1 level. This is Private Duty Nursing, so unlike visiting nursing, you are only working with one patient for scheduled blocked hours. For Full-time and Part-time employees, we can offer consistent scheduling on a week to week basis. No previous experience is required, and new nurses are also welcome to apply! Maxim offers several in-office training programs for caregiver interested in advancing their skills set including pediatric care, trach care, and ventilator care.

Responsibilities:
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho social changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members
- Other Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.
