Candidate will assess behavior needs, determine function of the challenging behavior and develop behavior plans. Candidate will evaluate the implementation of behavior support plans through personal observation, staff interviews and documentation review. Candidate must have a Masters degree in Psychology or a related discipline and be board certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Behavior Analyst.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts functional behavior assessments and educational assessments, accurately identifying the function of challenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to targetDevelops strong collaborative relationships and provides training to school staff to implement effective techniques across all environments, promoting progress and generalizationProvides ongoing supervision and training of behavior technicians, paraprofessionals and related field staff ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growthDevelops behavior goals and intervention techniques utilizing non-aversive behavior change methodsDetermines prevention, intervention and consequence strategies according to the needs and abilities of the individual.
Collect, analyze and report data and other paperwork within the established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacyPerforms other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs in homes or schoolsCurrent CPR certificationCurrent PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement)Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be requiredComputer proficiency requiredMust be at least 18 years of age Specializing in Educational Services for 10 years.
