What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Maxim Healthcare?
Maxim Healthcare Services Grand Rapids Michigan Office is seeking RNs to provide direct patient care for pediatric/adult patients within our client's homes located in Benton Harbor, MI and surrounding area! With home care nursing, patient care is provided in a 1:1 setting, and it is a very manageable workload. LPNs are also encouraged to apply.
We have both part time and full time positions available, as well as flexible scheduling!
Nurses will follow a physician established plan of care and treatment and will be working under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and Clinical Supervisor, to provide and instruct patients and their families in proper treatment and help individuals and groups to take steps to improve or maintain their health.
As a Maxim Nurse, you will assess and record symptoms and or reactions, progress in your patient(s), administer medications, and assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of care and treatment. Maxim believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities.
We provide in office training for a variance of necessary patient care! G-Tubes, Trachs, and Vents are among a few of our more popular training topics. Maxim has partnered with John Hopkins University School of Nursing to provide an interactive training approach to prepare nurses for emergency management of home mechanical ventilation.
Newly licensed nurses are also encouraged to apply for our Novice Nurse Program, in which we offer in depth training to get you more experienced in the nursing field.
Qualifications:
- Current RN/LPN License in the state in MI
- One year of Nursing experience preferred
- Copy of updated PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card- CPR MUST be Healthcare Provider. No online classes accepted
