We are looking for a talented and experienced Sales Specialist - Ocean Freight segment to join our dynamic team. You will promote the top-class international & domestic Freight forwarding services in the full scope of the 3PL service provider. You will be focused on building strong relationships with existing and potential customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing your expertise in sea freight forwarding to identify new sales opportunities by reaching out to both freight forwarders and shippers through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn. Your aim will be to communicate the value of Maxton Shipping and/or Skypace offers.
- Collaborating with the Business Development team to generate qualified opportunities in the assigned territory
- Participating in developing a comprehensive prospecting strategy for assigned territory.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.
- Provide accurate forecast updates on sales performance to revenue leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics with a focus on freight forwarding.
- Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative in logistics preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry, particularly the challenges and opportunities related to introducing new products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills, with a proven ability to engage and win clients.
- Strategic thinker, able to align detailed sales activities with broader strategic goals.
- Motivated and independent, capable of working effectively in collaboration with the sales team.
