Leasing Consultant

Maxx Properties is hiring a full-time Leasing Consultant at Cambrian Apartments!

Property Description: Located in Aurora, Cambrian Apartments features 383-units comprised with an array of amenities, renovated one and two bedroom floor plans, walk-in closets and so much more for our valued residents.

Summary:
Primary responsibilities include maintaining the financial records for the property and verifies, allocates and post details of business transactions to accounts from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs and computer printouts. Maintains resident information systems and resident files, reconciliations and interacts with residents. Supervises personnel in leasing and performs tasks associates with leasing and maintenance operations.

Daily Responsibilities:

Leasing and Marketing

• Handles telephone and on-site traffic, provides information about apartments and the community to prospective residents, schedules visits to the community and shows made-ready apartments.
• Successfully closes new sales, leases apartments and determines if prospective residents meet community qualifications.
• Maintains an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expiration's, square footage, etc
• Completes follow-up thank you notes and call-backs with prospects after the initial community visit.
• Monitors all vacancies and future vacancies in order to react proactively to future occupancy needs.
• Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards.
• Inspects vacant apartments on a regular basis to ensure that they are ready to show to prospective residents
• Assists with implementing resident retention and renewal programs.

Skills and Requirements:

• One plus years' of leasing experience with multi-family properties is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service and communications skills (written and verbal)
• Must be enthusiastic, reliable, organized and able to multi-task
• Experience with Yardi is preferred, but not required
