Mayker is looking for a full-time Retail Coordinator to join our interiors team. The ideal applicant will be someone who is wildly creative with a strong visual eye, thrives in an independent setting, and is passionate about serving others in an innovative shopping experience. We’re looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication, positive work ethic, and strong operational skills.
About the Job
- Conduct opening and closing procedures of the showroom space, ensuring the showroom accurately represents the demeanor of our brand — well-appointed, approachable, thoughtful.
- List, monitor, and manage all used furniture sales via Facebook Marketplace and other sales outlets
- Support the interiors department in delegated tasks spanning from operations to marketing and events
- Kill the customer service game, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and providing expert design advice
- Participate in merchandising and inventory tracking activities, including: daily stock maintenance, receiving and unpacking shipments, and ensuring all product categories are well-represented on the sales floor
- Monitor eCommerce transactions and execute shipments as per Mayker guidelines
- Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting company values and aesthetics
