What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Maysteel Industries LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift painter positions available.
Work under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor to produce finished painted and/or silk-screened products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Prepare parts to be painted. Includes the following:
A. Cleaning
B. Filling
C. Sanding
D. Masking
2. Painting. Must be proficient with urethane, polyurethane, enamel, epoxy, chromes, sanding and etching primers and teflons.
3. Must be proficient in mixing, thinning and reducing the above paints.
4. Must be proficient in silk-screening (enamel and epoxy).
5. Responsible for completing required MRP paperwork.
6. Responsible for AQMD and hazardous waste requirements.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain paint inventory.
2. Clean and maintain area and equipment.
3. Carry out any other tasks assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
