Mazzola & Company is a full-service accounting firm serving the greater Philadelphia area. We are proud of our commitment to providing quality QuickBooks, accounting and tax services to small businesses, partnerships, and individuals. It is a business casual, high pressure, yet still a fun work environment.

We are looking to fill an immediate position for an Office Manager - Assistant with accounting experience at our Olde Kensington office. The core function of this role is to manage key administrative duties, including scheduling and calendaring, screening incoming information, and coordinating telephone & email communication. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential as well as a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

 

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to staff but not limited, to filing, copying, faxing, answering phone calls, typing, word processing, and proofreading;

Communicates written and verbal responses on behalf of clients and staff;

Assist with facilitating day to day processes within the office;

Run bi-weekly payroll through ADP;

Maintain Tax Return routing system and all electronic filing;

Managing social media accounts;

Work independently and with others on projects as needed.

 

Qualifications

5 years in an administrative capacity required;

Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and interface with staff members and clients;

Ability to prioritize time sensitive assignments, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency on all projects;

Meticulous attention to detail and excellent follow through;

Must be able to work independently;

Flexible to take on ever-changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;

Calm under pressure with a common sense and flexible approach to situations;

Basic understanding of accounting and/or its environment;

Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus;

Flexibility to work additional hours for Busy Season (January- April).
