The Sales Manager generates sales. Sales Manager ensures events are successful by managing client and company expectations. Establishing strong relationships with clients, venue contacts, Mazzone Hospitality staff and vendors. Handles all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation, to client intake, proposal writing, site visits and planning meetings, décor selections, vendor management, event execution on site, billing process and rebooking. In addition to sales work, there will be administrative duties.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the sales process, from initial lead generation and development to deal closing and sale completion.
- Active participation and leadership activities in the Community.
- Up to date knowledge of industry trends and strong knowledge of competitors.
- Writing proposals.
- Answer telephone and email inquiries and respond to client orders with proposals in a timely fashion (within 48 hours).
- Lead client meetings and site or venue walkthroughs.
- Uses various computer word processing and other software packages to enter data, produce contracts, correspondence, forms, memorandum and other documents.
- Effectively coordinates terms and conditions with event venues and vendors to meet service expectations.
- Distribute documents to appropriate department personnel and locations to ensure prompt processing of time sensitive information of events.
- Coordinate and process orders for menus, staffing, in-house equipment, rental equipment, linen, regular and alcoholic beverages and specialty requests. Provide timely notice for all orders according to business policy and communicate with department leads any special client requests or concerns.
- Consults with clients to plan details such as number of persons expected, display space desired and food service schedule. Creates floor plans, timelines, and other plans to ensure clear communication of event logistics to on site staff and vendors.
- Present at events in an advisory role to ensure event success and client satisfaction.
- Communicate with the entire sales team and contribute through active participation in the overall goals and objectives of the team. Maintains up-to-date awareness of company initiatives.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
