Position Summary:
Install Firestop Systems according to specific UL/FM assembly requirements or manufacturers engineering judgements. This position is primarily responsible for the safe and quality application of Firestop Systems in commercial buildings. Assist the Foreman as needed with all aspects of the Firestop installation and jobsite communication to the customer as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the Firestop or Insulation Industry
- General building practice and commercial construction knowledge as well as a general understanding of fire/smoke barriers.
- Sufficient ability to locate and install appropriate UL/FM firestop systems.
- Ability to navigate common blueprints.
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have a positive and cooperative attitude and excellent attendance.
- Must be able to get along with fellow workers, other tradesman on the jobsite, inspectors, customers, and the public.
- Properly use safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

- Work is primarily performed both indoor and outdoor environments in all/extreme weather conditions.
