Furniture Finisher

High-end custom cabinetry and mill work company is seeking an experienced furniture finisher to join our team.

Job Description:

• Applies finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods
• Must be proficient in color matching
• Must be able to repair,fill, and smooth cracks or depressions
• Must be able to do touch ups as needed (may be required to go on field)
• Must be able to sand and use various types of sanding papers
• Must have knowledge of polishes, adhesives, solvents, and colors
• Must know how to use hand tools and various power tools
• Must be able to distress surfaces with woodworking tools
• Rub surfaces to bring out highlights and shadings

Requirements:

• Product knowledge of various finish products and their application process.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work nights and Saturdays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs

Job Location: Cerritos, CA.

Required education: High school or equivalent.

Required experience: 2 years of finishing

Starting pay: Based on experience and credentials.

Experience:

• Construction Experience: 2 years (Required)
• Carpentry: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
