Engineering Manager: Stratham, NH: This position is within the Engineering Department and reports to the Technical Manager. The basic function of the position is to oversee the engineering department, including the design engineers and draftsmen. Essential job functions and responsibilities are as follows: Responsible for the organization and supervision of the mechanical design team with regards to timelines, cost targets, and technology. Responsible for ensuring the engineering department follows the design guidelines of the MBraun group. Development, application and supervision of design and technology standards for company products. Support the sales department on quotations for customized systems, research design proposals, specifications and requirements for product designs. Make design changes to existing products and design and generate engineering drawings for new products. Provide technical project management assistance. Stay informed of new technology, trends, and regulations and apply innovative technology to designs. Interpret and implement customer needs on all interface related topics. Work with regional government officials to secure necessary official documents for designs and products. Responsible for processing department related nonconformances when required. Responsible for the direct supervision of the engineering department personnel including but not limited to interviewing, review process, hiring and termination process, time sheet approvals and time off approvals. Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen. Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics. Requires Bachelor of Engineering. Foreign academic equivalent is acceptable. Requires 36 months of experience in an engineering capacity.
