Description:
We are seeking an experienced Utility Sales Representative to develop relationships with potential and existing customers for the purpose of increasing territory growth and to develop and implement national sales strategies to sell MBW utility division products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships: Contact existing and prospective customers to discuss their needs and explain how these needs can be met with specific MBW products through training presentations and demonstrating products, explaining product features, and soliciting orders. Utilize CRM system to track interactions with existing customers and to help identify potential new customers.
- Generate sales: Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates; negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms. Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
- Provide post sales support: Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Help mediate problems or questions related to product or invoicing.
- Identify and manage partners: (manufacturer’s reps) to assist in the development of sales in territory.
- Develop and conduct product training presentations: Train customers to operate and maintain new equipment.
- Manage demo and consignment equipment within territory.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
- Maintain an active presence on social media to help promote MBW and our products.
- Promote and demonstrate MBW Core Values
- Travel: 50%
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a business related degree
Technology/Equipment: Computer skills and familiarity with social media.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and/or Training:
- 3-5 years experience in sales
- Previous experience in a similar industry, understanding of mechanical equipment and engine.
- Proficiency in computer programs including Google Drive and CRM (Zoho) as well as the use of presentation tools.
Salary : $54,500 - $68,900
