The Editor and Motion Graphics Artist position requires a competent and creative visionary who will work with Creative Directors and the Video Producers on our team to create and execute projects in a variety of video format types. This position also requires a knowledge of sound editing and design. Our ideal candidate is an expert in an array of Adobe products, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects Design. This is a freelance opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with creative principals to conceptualize, produce, and create video and graphic content
- Collaborate with various external freelancers and vendors for any specialized creative assets or overflow work.
- Become an integral part of the video team; present work to senior creative staff and other Content Creators
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Suite and common motion graphics design software
- Understand visual composition and use of typography
- Ability to create superior, original motion graphic designs and animation Production experience and knowledge of various HD cameras and lighting techniques is a plus
- 3D application experience such as Cinema 4D, Maya, Element 3D is a plus
- Soft skills: excellent communication skills both written and verbal, collaborative mentality, attention to detail, adaptability, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to use your initiative.
