The purpose of this job is to service existing accounts by growing and maintaining sales throughout the assigned territory which includes Harrisburg Pa and the surrounding region. Additionally, you will build and maintain customer relationships and provide ongoing support with product placement on plan-o-grams.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Visit existing customer accounts and take on the responsibility of growing same store sales and maintaining sales of current product, product lines, and categories, as well as introducing new product lines and programs.
- Work with new and existing business to build and maintain customer relationships. This requires knowing the customers and fostering relationships with store owners and key management personnel of both stores and chains.
- Responsible for identifying problem accounts and any past due invoices; communicating all necessary information with regard to said accounts to the credit manager and the sales manager. Assist controller when asked in collection of overdue accounts.
- Responsible to assure that merchandisers are performing all necessary updates including plan-o-grams, processing credits, and performing label maintenance within the territory.
- Responsible for the distribution and sale of all brochures, flyers, programs and publications from MBI Marketing to key store personnel in order to grow sales.
- Continue to penetrate territory of new business and existing accounts for potential new business opportunities.
- Provide ongoing assistance to New Business Developer by communicating new account leads.
Work Environment:
You will spend the majority of your day with immediate and direct customer contact. Travel requirements of up to 75% in the assigned region.

Candidates must have their own transportation and a proven good driving record. Must have a current, non-expired and non-suspended driver's license
