Description
Under the direction of the Directors, the Physical Therapist develops, organizes, conducts and/or oversees an individualized, medically prescribed physical therapy plan of care to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body part. The physical therapist provides preventative instruction and rehabilitation of acute or prolonged dysfunction or pain with an emphasis on movement; therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents; exercise and other procedures to maximize functional independence. The physical therapist functions as a member of the rehabilitation team; participates in in-service training; quality improvement initiatives; documentation; charging; ordering equipment and supplies; supervising/training staff; and other requested duties

Qualifications
Current Oklahoma Physical Therapy licensure. Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education. Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
Hospital experience. Experience in either acute care hospital or outpatient orthopedics.
