Responsibilities
- Performs vehicle repairs in accordance with the estimate.
- Inspects vehicles to ensure unseen damage is noted and reported to the Estimator and/or Manager.
- Disassembles and reassembles vehicle components as necessary.
- Reworks sheet metal and other materials in preparation for paint.
- Straightens damaged frames or unibody structures using frame straightening machine and laser measuring systems.
- Files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces.
- Primes repaired surfaces, using paint spray gun equipment as required.
- Repairs or replaces damaged mechanical parts as required.
- Inspects parts received for repair and compares to repair estimate for accuracy.
- Job assigned according to qualifications.
Qualifications
- Prefer at least two years auto body technician experience.
- Must have own tools.
- ICAR or ASE certification a plus.
- Must have a strong desire to do exceptional work and provide outstanding customer service.
- Attention to detail.·
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
