Inside Aggregate Sales

McClymonds Supply & Transit provides dry bulk trucking and supply services to the eastern half of the United States. The fleet includes triaxle (straight truck) dump, tractor-trailer dump, pneumatic bulk tank, roll-off triaxles and trailers, and heavy haul. The Company supplies dry bulk materials to commercial, residential, and highway construction companies, landscapers, industrial manufacturers and mills, and the oil and gas industry, among others.

Job summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in pricing trucking and aggregates to be delivered in Western PA

Summary of essential job functions

· Develop sales leads

· Call on customers

· Quote aggregate prices to general contractors, townships, landscapers, and home owners

· Maintain files and records of quotes

· Schedule local deliveries

· Perform all other tasks as designated by supervisor

Minimum requirements

This position requires a high school diploma or GED certificate. A bachelor’s degree from a four - year college or university in business or a related field is preferred but not required. Three to five years of experience in a construction or related sales/management position and a strong general knowledge of the use of raw materials is necessary. Must possess the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and clients. It is important that this individual possess negotiation and interpersonal relationship skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft office software is required.

Abilities required

While performing this job this person will be required to remain seated, typing, and monitoring information on a computer. In addition, this individual may be required to perform some manual labor This includes but is not limited to: lifting boxes, tools or equipment that may weigh up to 50lbs.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
