What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at McCracken Humane Society?
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
A volunteer day will be required before employment.
Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays
Responsibilities will include but are not limited too
* Feed and water dogs and puppies
*Walk dogs
* Properly clean kennels
*Assist adopters in selecting a pet that will fit their needs
*Maintenance inside and outside of the building
*Work with animals on resolving behavioral issues
*Participate in Humane Society sponsored events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Paducah, KY 42001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
