AP Processor

About your role

The Accounts Payable (A/P) Processor handles all accounts payable, keeps accurate and up-to-date records, and assists with any inquiries regarding accounts payable. This position processes outgoing payments and all monthly, quarterly, and annual reports associated with the A/P functions.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

• Performs data entry associated with A/P and processes accurate check requests and reports on a regular basis.
• Ensure that purchase orders are accurate according to the invoice.
• Properly code expenses to the general ledger.
• Monitor expense trends for month-end.
• Collect W-9s and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for new vendors and update them annually.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:

• 1 - 3 years of experience with accounts payable or general accounting is preferred.
