McFarland Clinic is currently accepting for an Allergy Mix Technician for it's Ames location. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: mixing ingredients for allergy injections in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Behavior.

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
• Pharmacy Technician Diploma

Certification/License

• Annually complete allergenic extract mixing competency test, media fill test and gloved fingertip-thumb test.

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

• 2 years experience in drug compounding preferred.
• Working knowledge of an electronic medical records (EPIC preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Models accuracy and efficiency in sterile compounding.
