Job Summary
The Parts Manager at McGavock Auto Group is responsible for overseeing all parts operations within the Amarillo, TX store. This will include taking inventory, managing stock, accounting for shipments, customer relations, developing staff, and ensuring the efficient use of stock and resources. This is a management role with a competitive salary ranging from $75000 to $125000 per year.

Responsibilities
• Ensuring the store's parts and supplies are well stocked and organized, as well as ensuring accurate inventory records
• Establishing pricing and ordering policies, while also making sure all stock received is accounted for
• Monitoring and controlling expenditures, while also helping to ensure maximum profitability
• Delegating tasks to customer service personnel and parts technicians
• Serving as the liaison between the store and the purchasing department, while also overseeing parts return policies
• Establishing relationships and working with vendors to obtain the best prices possible
• Supervising and providing guidance and direction to parts staff
• Maintaining frequent communication with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED/ Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Previous auto parts management experience required
• Computer and technical knowledge and proficiency
• Working knowledge of store operating procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills
