RN: Registered Nurse
Full Time or Part Time - Days or Nights (12 hour shifts)
**Pay rate up to $40/hour/$4.00 Shift Differential, depending on shift - $5,000 Retention Bonus offered!**

Retention Bonus Payout:
$1000 after 45 days of employment
$1000 after 90 days of employment
$1500 after 6 months of employment
$1500 after 1 year of employment

What do I need as a RN: Registered Nurse with McGregor?
- I hold a current, active, valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio with no sustained findings or convictions
- I have current and valid CPR and First Aid Certification
- I have experience as an RN in a long-term care environment in practice or in a clinical setting
- I have knowledge of electronic medical records, basic computer skills, and email
What will I do as a RN: Registered Nurse with McGregor?
- Interpret existing policies and procedures for nursing assistants, restorative nursing assistants, residents, families, and physicians.
- Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
- Provide report to nurse coming on duty, including sufficient information for follow-up action as necessary.
- Conduct resident rounds daily, report problems to the nurse supervisor, and initiate corrective action.
- Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately.
- Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate emergency care and "life-saving" measures in the absence of a physician.
- Follow, supervise and evaluate the implementation of the Resident's Rights Program.
- Provide supervision to Nursing assistants providing direct resident care.
- Attend staff meetings, in-service classes, and committee meetings as assigned.
- Follow staffing guidelines and make nursing assignments according to the qualifications of staff and characteristics of the resident population.
