Contract Manager

Must-haves to apply for this job:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of extensive knowledge with contract management experience in a corporate department

What this job is all about:
The Contract Manager will assist the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), and work closely with the Trademark and Licensing Senior Manager, attorneys, and other staff in handling an array of domestic and international matters including, but not limited to, contract management, research, and other general corporate matters.

In this job, you’ll do things like:

• Provide support to CLO, Trademark and Licensing Senior Manager, attorneys, and other staff in handling an array of domestic and international corporate matters
• Draft various forms of contract and other documents using attorney-approved standard templates (various forms of agreements, amendments, renewal and termination letters, etc.); analyze, proof and edit various types of documents
• Determine potential issues which arise in the course of business communications, recommend resolutions and refer them to the appropriate individual for analysis
• Monitor terms and provisions of various contracts and other documents to ensure compliant and to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Perform general research including but not limited to review of regulations governing food industry and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry and other regulations.
• Perform research and analysis in connection with various general corporate transactions.
• Manage other staff as assigned, to include overseeing day-to-day tasks, training and development, assigning duties and evaluating work performance.

• Experience in supervision or management of other staff
