Job Summary
McKesson is seeking a Portfolio Manager.
Current Need
McKesson is seeking a Portfolio Manager within the US Pharma Generics (Gx) Injectables team. The Manager will report to the Gx Injectables Director of Commercial Enablement with a wide range of portfolio management responsibilities covering contract leads, inventory, sourcing, and drug shortages. This is a collaborative role which involves working closely outside of the Gx Injectables team with Gx Operations, Analytics, Pricing, Program, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Formulary Management
- Manage and optimize all Gx Injectables program leads while ensuring contract compliance and full coverage
- Command knowledge of all contract and program types
- Align with key stakeholders including Pricing and Program teams, as well as with broader US Pharma lead governance efforts
- Serve as primary liaison to private label and sourcing team for Gx Injectables
- Align Gx Injectables formulary with sourcing team, including RFPs and item-specific sourcing activities
- Partner with Gx Injectables Commercial team on formulary changes
Drug Shortage Management
- Become Gx Injectables subject matter expert on drug shortages to support internal and external customers decision making
- Identify key current internal and external data sources and reporting to develop future enhancements to our drug shortage monitoring system
- Aligns with supply channel, sourcing and commercial team on potential supply disruption
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels of key portfolio items and partner with supply chain to ensure proper levels are allocated across the forward distribution centers (DCs)
- Provide sourcing team with forecasted volumes of newly award Gx injectables
- Understand and evaluate working capital modelling along with other finance KPIs with FP&A team
Commercial Enablement
- Partners with Gx Injectables Commercial team on growth opportunities

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
Education/Training -
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Advanced degree strongly preferred.
Business Experience -
- 5 years of portfolio management, sourcing, distribution, or finance experience, preferably in wholesale drug distribution or pharmaceutical-related industry.
Salary: 92,600.00 - 123,400.00 - 154,300.00 USD Annual
