Job Summary
McKesson is seeking a Scrum Master.
Key Responsibilities
Load Balance service requests across the application support teams. Identify service requests submitted that are enhancement requests or project based in nature and will require appropriate project intake.
Identified requests that require approval and facilitates gathering approval from leaders and other business stakeholders before assigning requests to application support team members.
This role will include identifying the minimum datasets for various service requests and project requests and constant coordination between requestors, leaders, and application support teams.
This role is directly responsible for monitoring ticket volumes across teams based on support effort and expected outcomes. This role is directly responsible for follow up on aged tickets by category to ensure timely completion of support tasks.
This role is directly responsible for coordination of incident management in the event of an outage, including outside teams including vendors, internal IT resources, and customer communication.
Minimum Requirements & Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent discipline or 4 years of equivalent work experience required.
Critical Experience
3 years' experience with customer service or customer relationship management highly desirable.
3 years' experience in scrum master role or managerial or other leadership role preferred.
1 years' experience with athenaIDX architecture, administration, and maintenance preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow ticketing application preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to clearly articulate ideas and information.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in written and verbal communication.
Ability to effectively use communication tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet).
Additional Skills & Key Traits
Collaboration and Teamwork: Service request assignment, follow up, and major incident management will involve multiple stakeholders, including business analysts, IT teams, customers, and vendors. This candidate must be able to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration, and coordination to ensure the successful support of athenaIDX as it grows and evolves.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial for a scrum master. Requires clear and meaningful communication to customers, vendors, and colleagues. Requires effective follow up on communication where required by company mandated service level agreements.
Time Management: Effectively plan and prioritize tasks, ensuring team members have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and deadlines. Identify obstacles or bottlenecks that may be impeding the progress of the team and take appropriate actions such as removing impediments or escalating issues.
Attention to Detail: Accurate service request assignment requires attention to detail. Candidates must be able to identify whether minimum datasets are met and understand how to categorize tickets correctly to make the accurate assignments. Too, enhancement requests must be identified so that they are identified early before work is executed on without necessary approval and onboarding.
Adaptability: The revenue cycle landscape is fluid with new standards, regulations, and improved technologies. All members of the support team must be adaptable and willing to learn and master new tools, protocols in collaboration with our practice management system vendor.
Overall, a successful scrum master combines their functional expertise and technical understanding, excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and an understanding of our customers' and vendors business processes.
