Job Overview: Application Support Specialist
McNational, Inc is seeking an Application Support Specialist in our South Point, OH office. The expectation for Application Support Specialist is that it will be on-site with less than 10% travel. Support outside of normal business hours is expected on an as needed basis.
McNational, Inc is a company comprised of six operating companies on the inland waterways that has been in business for more than 110 years. Our companies provide reliable transportation, equipment, and repair services to the marine industry.
Day in the life:
The Network Administrator will report directly to IT Director. The Application Support Specialist manages IT projects as assigned by the IT Director and supports end users on a daily basis. The Application Support Specialist will be the technical liaison between all business units and the IT department and will work to resolve and coordinate software installations, upgrades, and new software initiatives.
Qualifications:
· BS/BA in IT/Computer Science related field, or equivalent certifications and work experience
· 3 years experience in corporate helpdesk environment supporting Microsoft Windows, and Office 365
· 3 years experience supporting Epicor or other ERP
· 1 years experience with SQL queries
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
· Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
· Excellent customer service skills
