Job Description
The MECM Administrator will support the organization through patch management, client imaging, inventory/reporting, and application deployments through MECM. The candidate will also be required to deploy and implement enhancements that will improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the MECM systems. Responsibilities include:
- Maintain client images and task sequences
- Deploy software, patches, and updates using MECM
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
- Monitor patch releases and develop patch installation strategies for servers and clients
- Perform general administration duties in Active Directory environment
- Provide a point of escalation and support to the Help Desk and IT teams
- Works side by side with other system administrators and IT teams
- Support user questions, problems, and needs with prompt and courteous attention
- MDT integrations with MECM and utilizing to improve imaging processes
- Patching of Devices – SCCM Admin
- Occasional off-hours support is required
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience is preferred
- Proficient with MECM patch management, inventory management, operating system deployment
- Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks (i.e. PowerShell, VBScript, Batch Files)
