Responsibilities
Manchester Tank and Equipment is hiring for full time Day Shift MIG and TIG Weld Operators! As a weld operator, you will be responsible for the production of pressure vessels while adhering to weld specifications as listed on blueprints. Candidates for this position must become comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and are willing to be a phenomenal teammate! Selected candidates can expect to learn new skills through training and hands-on experience that will assist them in their day-to-day activities.
Manchester Tank Weld Operators must be able to pass a weld test that corresponds to their selected position, and must present the following key skills: blueprint knowledge, proficient in welding terminology and symbols, can accurately read a tape measure, detail oriented, and have a focus on teamwork. Candidates must also show a good track record of attendance, and consistent work history.
Our Day Shift consists of four 10-hours shifts, Monday-Thursday from 6:00am-4:30pm, with a possible overtime day of Friday from 6am-2:30pm.
