What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager, Radiation Oncology position at MD Anderson?
The primary purpose of this Project Manager position is to provide technical expertise, support, and project management for a host of multiplatform projects and initiatives in the Division of Radiation Oncology.
The highly qualified individual will work closely and collaboratively with faculty members, their teams, and administrative teams from across the division to ensure timely delivery of quality products, from concept to implementation and production. As needed, the individual will coordinate with relevant institutional offices, departments, and stakeholders to align standards and guidelines.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

Manages project timelines, objectives, and coordination of feedback and approvals among relevant subject matter experts, in a multi-task and deadline-driven environment

Works with clinical teams, research teams, and administrators to develop content, create prototypes/mockups, and deliver products that support various division activities

Develops and produces relevant materials for division programs and activities

Collaborates with faculty and teams to develop engaging and compelling educational interactives

Develops products to enable effective demonstration and explanation of scientific and clinical concepts or models

Manages the production of booklets, reports, and other materials for division initiatives

Establishes and documents procedures for the production of materials

Makes recommendations for and implements technologies, tools, and approaches to enhance the value of project materials and/or improves efficiency of process

Develops and maintains a digital library of materials and resources for the division

Maintains related equipment and supplies

Maintains best practices and institutional standards
EDUCATION
Required: At least a high school diploma
Preferred: At least an Associate's degree in related field
EXPERIENCE
Required: At least 6 years of relevant experience, particularly working with faculty and administrative teams on academic projects in a healthcare environment
Preferred: At least 8 years of relevant experience
