Full Job Description
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our TMS system.
- Day to Day tracking/tracing containers.
- Utilize Process Monitors and Workflows on daily basis.
- Monitoring port terminal websites for load availability for import and export.
- Working with steamship lines to minimize per diem and detention charges.
- Ensure timely movement and delivery of containers to customers daily.
- Provide live notification of any incurred charges and request approval.
- Communicate with customers regarding any issues with shipments or delays per customers’ requirements.
- Plans and tracks the delivery of containers according to customer request.
- Be a liaison to customers and dispatchers to bring all orders to completion according to company standards.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of customer interactions.
- Review and monitor customers profiles for accuracy.
- Coordinate pick-up, delivery and return appointments.
- Build strong relationships with our customer base to increase volume and develop new business.
- Ability to present reports to management.
- Understand department process workflow by constantly looking for areas of improved efficiencies.
- Work closely with operations to optimize performance.
- Perform other task assign by management.
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience in drayage trucking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- TMW is a plus.
