Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing Operations:
- Welcome prospective residents.
- Qualify leads and guide tours of the community.
- Showcase apartment homes and process applications.
- Organize lease documentation and move-in packets.
- Market Insight:
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
- Adapt leasing strategies accordingly.
- Property Management Software:
- Utilize PMS for tracking apartment availability and logging leasing activities.
- Maintain data for current and prospective residents.
- Community Standards:
- Inspect leasing areas and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Ensure the leasing office is prepared for daily operations.
- Resident Relationships:
- Communicate effectively with potential and current residents.
- Enhance satisfaction and encourage leasing or renewal decisions.
- Lease Renewal Efforts:
- Prepare renewal communications and engage with residents.
- Ensure timely completion of renewal documentation.
- Resident Support:
- Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure resolution or escalate issues as needed.
- Financial & Administrative Reporting:
- Prepare and manage various financial and administrative reports.
- Policy Adherence:
- Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Operational Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
- Confidentiality:
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- At least one year of experience in leasing, sales, or marketing.
- Strong customer service background.
- Communication:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete legal documents and explain amenities.
- Sales Skills:
- Skilled in lead generation, presentation, prospect qualification, and closing.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in financial and word processing software.
- Experience with internet-based marketing and sales platforms (e.g., Craigslist, Google).
- Mathematical Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills for managing financial records and budgets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
