JOB SUMMARY
Draw/coordinate on a large variety of new and existing construction projects based on information derived from MEP construction drawings. Typically drawing/coordination works includes 3D modeling of all electrical systems and develop design drawings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires High School Diploma/GED and
1 years of electrical design experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Job site/field experience.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Proficient in the following design software: Revit and Navisworks.
Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Attention to detail and the ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Successful time management skills to work on several projects concurrently.
Share valuable information with team members to increase department expertise.
Require a positive attitude and good communication skills with internal and external customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret design and construction documents.
Understanding of electrical systems.
Utilize BIM to increase the team's understanding of problems and solutions and assist the construction and field team in solving issues throughout the project.
BIM coordination and preparation of filed drawings and reports.
Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity and learn how to use all software options.
Maintain project files.
Assist management with additional assignments as directed.
