LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
The Company :
S. Team based out of THE WOODLANDS.
They are seeking a LOGISTICS SPECIALIST to assist with their international logistics of chemical HAZMAT products.
This role is a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity! Compensation for this role is $75K-$85K, depending on experience.
This position does have a MON-FRI (8 hour shift) schedule, days only. No nights and / or weekends.
ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE proven experience in CHEMICAL supply chain logistics.*
The Expectations for the LOGISTICS SPECIALIST :
- Manage all aspects of import and export logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of products.
- Ensure compliance with HAZMAT regulations, ensuring that all materials are handled, stored, and transported safely.
- Coordinate with international suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for customs clearance, ensuring adherence to customs compliance regulations.
- Stay updated on tariffs and trade regulations, providing guidance on cost implications and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production and sales, to forecast logistics needs and manage inventory levels.
The Experience Required for the LOGISTICS SPECIALIST :
- MUST have 5 years of experience with international logistics.
- MUST have experience with imports and exports of HAZMAT products.
- Existing knowledge of customs compliance, tariffs, and trade agreements.
The Benefits :
The pay for this role is $75K-$85K, depending on experience.
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and is direct-hire with benefits!
