At Measurabl, the Corporate Trainer is responsible for maintaining the standards of Measurabl’s talent by providing comprehensive training at the start of employment and as needed throughout employment. Duties include working closely with company executives and department heads to determine areas for employee improvement, developing training courses/programs for new and existing employees, and establishing methods to track employee performance after the completion of training. Other duties may include building and executing training for Channel Partners and their sales teams.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Manage, develop, and administer onboarding programs for Sales and other revenue funnel teams that effectively engage, teach, and encourage positive behaviors from new hires
  • Develop course curriculums that scale to the learners’ requirements/position, weaving in a separate track for sales management
  • Manage, develop, and administer GTM (go-to-marketing) training programs for Sales and other revenue funnel teams that effectively facilitate their knowledge on new products, features, and services
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs by identifying and tracking key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive rep productivity
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align on initiatives, product updates, and business priorities and continuously update programs accordingly
  • Identify performance gaps within the sales organization and design onboarding and continuous education content to improve and influence results, working closely with sales leaders
  • Engage cross-functional subject matter experts to share expertise in onboarding and continual training sessions as needed
  • Manage the use of relevant learning and development tools and software
  • Manage, develop, and administer Channel Partner onboarding programs for our partners’ sales team to enable their GTM (go-to-market) activities
  • Collaborate with management to schedule training programs for all staff and Channel Partner organizations as needed
  • Recommend management strategies to leadership that are targeted for specific departments with the goal of increasing efficiency and effectiveness and generating increased revenues

This role will:

  • Provide 70% of time supporting Sales
  • Provide 20% of time supporting Channel Partners (training delivery & content creation)
  • Provide 10% of time supporting broader organizational training efforts

Education & Experience:

We have identified the following programs, experience, and knowledge that have helped others find success in this role at Measurabl. We understand though that knowledge comes from many forms of learning and experiences. Above all, we consider a person’s potential impact in the role and value their unique path to this point in their career.

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in sales enablement, instructional design, or sales training; preference is given to those who have work experience as a Corporate Trainer, Technical Trainer, or Training Specialist
  • Instructional design experience is preferred, preferably using Lessonly and Gong to enable sales training
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, or programs
  • Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects, and program management; experience working in Asana and Hubspot is a plus
  • Experience working in sales, marketing, customer success, or sales operations role
  • Expertise in process improvement and change management
  • Expert in MS Office and e-learning software
  • Preference may be given to those who possess certification through the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), or an industry certification specific to training & development
