Description
Our South Bay Learning Center in Carlsbad, CA is looking for a high energy detailed oriented team member to join our Team.
Acting as the first line of communication to clients, the Center Receptionist will be a highly motivated, detail oriented individual with excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask. Primary focus for the Center Receptionist is handling all incoming calls to the Learning Center and checking-in all patients while collecting co-pays. The Receptionist will play an integral role in the flow of the Center by assisting Providers with the check-in process for MeBe’s clients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Answering all incoming phone calls, greeting and checking in and out all clients
- Scheduling, re-scheduling, and cancelling San Diego appointments for the Learning Center and North County Office, including charging for cancellations
- Collects and processes co-pays daily
- Understand basic benefits and eligibility information
- Verify incoming new patient paperwork is completed
- Serve as back up Family Success Liaison
- Other duties, as assigned.
Experience:
- Insurance and authorizations experience highly preferred
- Working with kids
- Familiarity with Microsoft and G Suite a plus
- High level of integrity
- Ability to maintain composure in high stress situations
- Excellent customer-oriented attitude
- High energy, drive for excellence
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
