Here at Medi Weightloss, we look for individuals that want to learn multiple roles to become the ultimate team player. If you already have experience with insurance, performing EKG, injection administration & phlebotomy, that's fantastic! If not, that’s okay, but we do prefer you to have a desire to learn these items.
About the Role
Clinical Duties:
- Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment. Greet and acknowledge every patient, maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Counsel patients on their progress and diet during weekly visits
- Conduct follow up calls to patients to discuss the patient's progress and address any concerns
- Obtains patient's vitals, EKG, injection administration and Phlebotomy
- Prepares laboratory order forms
- Documents patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR
- Performs other clinical duties as required
Administrative Duties:
- Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies
- Daily scanning and uploading of documents in patient files
- Answer telephone, text and fax messages and responding accordingly
- Trains additional staff on daily procedures
- Maintains overall cleanliness of the clinic
Requirements:
- Nutrition experience, education or certification (preferred)
- Experience or certification in medical assisting (preferred)
- Passionate about health and wellness, living a healthy lifestyle (required)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
