General Responsibilities:
Provide administrative, clerical and organizational support and assist with all aspects of recruiting, hiring, and new hire orientation. Answer day to day inquires and provide Human Resources Generalist support with employee relations matters within the Business Services/OnMedia Division. Practice good judgement, discretion and confidentiality.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Data entry and maintenance of various HR systems and employee records, (both electronic and physical).
- Maintain an organized filing system for division records.
- Prepare reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and by request for various departments, as well as senior management, with accuracy and while meeting deadlines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees and management team.
- Advise and assist management with employee relations matters.
- Maintain EEO guidelines/reports and related efforts for the Division office.
- May assist to coordinate the receipt and submission of the FCC 396-C filings.
- Perform new hire orientations.
- May assist with development of HR Newsletter and regular communication to the team.
- Collect data and prepare department reports as required.
- Assist communications of policies and best practices.
- Assist with tracking assigned work schedules and various pandemic related situations.
- Some travel required.
- Requires regular attendance to report to work per assigned work schedule.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Minimum 2-year experience in human resources with recruitment and generalist duties.
- HR certification or degree preferred.
- Articulate in verbal and written form; with the ability to interact competently and with authority with all levels of the organization, as well as vendors and fellow professionals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, initiative and follow-through
- Good organization skills.
- Regular attendance required.
