Position Overview
The Strategist, SEM is a critical thinker, able to work independently, is comfortable with client communication and likes to think a little outside of the box. The Strategist, SEM has strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple assignments. In this position, you will focus on the strategy, execution and optimization of our SEM program.
Responsibilities
- Assists the agency in developing SEM campaigns that are integrated into our clients' overall marketing plan.
- Focuses on the strategy, execution and optimization of our SEM program.
- Collaborates with multiple departments, including creative services, social, digital and traditional media.
- Researches and understands client business models, products/services, verticals, and competition.
- Proactively part takes in internal meetings, helps to solve problems, and completes client deliverables.
- Proactively contributes to a positive team atmosphere and company culture and be a role model for the junior members of the team.
- Pulls and analyzes paid search reports, with limited direction, and identify trends/insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 year of experience, 1-2 years of Paid SEM experience, directly managing paid search campaigns and understands Paid Search campaign management and optimization practices required.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Keynote, Google Adwords and Bing Ads and bid management platform experience a plus.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and close attention to detail.
