We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our outpatient clinic in Columbus, OH, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician. What You’ll Be Doing
As a CT Technologist, you will:
- Perform essential medical procedures such as starting IVs, administering contrast media, and taking vital signs under physician supervision
- Collect and document patient data, including posting charges and creating chart notes
- Administer medications in accordance with organizational standards and assist in allergic reaction events
- Conduct patient scans following ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) guidelines
- Maintain the functionality of the CT scanner, ensuring equipment is clean and quality assurance (QA) is performed per OSHA, ARRT, and Ohio Department of Health guidelines
- Manage the cleanliness and stock of rooms
- Participate in the management of medical supplies, including ordering and inventory documentation
- Attend required in-service training (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA)
- Help identify safety management issues by participating in safety evaluations and adhering to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Contribute to both clinical and business performance improvement efforts
What We Expect from You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program with board certification in CT
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capability to make decisions based on established policies and procedures
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
