Seeking a PL/SQL developer with excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills to help produce scalable, efficient, and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies. You will work as part of an experienced team responsible for analysis, design, problem resolution and support. Play a key role in extending and implementing applications to support HR and Finance. This role has close coordination and continuous communication with business users, IT and development teams.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and troubleshooting of mature Oracle EBS solution.
- Write scripts, stored procedures, and reports.
- Managing daily maintenance jobs across all supported databases, taking
- corrective action as needed.
- Reviewing and troubleshooting incidents
- Occasional evening/weekend support for updates/maintenance is required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years information systems experience.
- Minimum 2 years analysis and troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Experience with SQL Server, OracleDB or DB2 preferred.
- Experience with Oracle EBS Techno functional for modules AR/AP, Fixed Assets, GL, Purchasing, Procurement preferred.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle preferred.
- Experience with moving Oracle EBS from OnPrem to Cloud preferred.
- Fusion reporting for financials and HR preferred.
- Crystal Reporting / Business Objects preferred.
- Informatica preferred.
- Visual Studio / SSIS preferred.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Solid understanding SQL coding techniques preferred.
- Ability to use SQL to identify and correct data issues preferred.
- Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Toad, Shell Scripting, Performance Tuning preferred.
- Solid understanding of systems development life cycle preferred.
- Ability to do independent analysis and troubleshooting of mature solutions preferred.
