What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at Medines Collision Center?
Medine's Collision Center is a family owned business that has been in business since 1965 We are looking for a great addition to our team by adding a Parts Specialists.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Parts Specialist is responsible for overseeing the parts department and to return a satisfactory profit on parts ordered for jobs & inventory.
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the body shop and repair orders.
- Maintain an orderly workplace both within the parts department and the office.
- Work with the vendors and collision center to ensure inventory is available when needed.
- Monitor and adjust daily supply for critical and fast-moving parts
- Communicate immediately if backorder or obsolesce occurs for parts needed for a repair order
- Return any un-used items or not needed within the time frame necessary for a successful credit.
- Receiving within the management system to ensure timely processing
- Scanning all invoices into our multiple system to ensure accurate processing.
- Strong customer service skills are a must
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
- Experience as an Automotive Parts or Inventory Employee is a plus
- Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
