What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credits Specialist position at Medix?
Pay Rate: $19-20/hour. *based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7-9 AM Start (Must work 8 Hours Day)
Description:
- Gathering pertinent information to be able to resolve difficult credit situations to assure timely follow-up
- Analyze all EOB insurance correspondence to determine and complete steps for resolving credits through
- appeal process within payer timely guidelines.
- Make calls or use payer portals for claim follow up on outstanding credit balances.

Identify trends related to rates/coding and insurance changes and communicate effectively with
supervisor and above. - Follow up frequently and note all outstanding credit balances.Gathering pertinent information to be able to resolve difficult credit situations to assure timely follow-up
