The Systems Architect assists in expanding Mednax's use of data systems as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives. Individual will design and develop Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions using available and appropriate toolsets such as MSSQL, OLAP and Cognos, as well as create data models that support strategic and tactical information requirements. The candidate will work to understand health care information and measurement needs and creatively solve problems. The individual will code complex data driven solutions, handling tasks from project inception through implementation and support thereafter.
This candidate will also be involved with data extraction, data preparation, IT process improvements as well as act as an advisor for Data Warehouse departmental technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Expanding Mednax's use of data systems as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives.
- Design and develop Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions using available and appropriate toolsets such as MSSQL, OLAP and Cognos, as well as create data models that support strategic and tactical information requirements.
- Work to understand health care information and measurement needs and creatively solve problems.
- Code complex data driven solutions, handling tasks from project inception through implementation and support thereafter.
- Be involved with data extraction, data preparation, IT process improvements as well as act as an advisor for Data Warehouse departmental technical decisions.
Effective November 1st, 2021 MEDNAX will require all employees and new hires to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they qualify for an approved medical and/or religious exemption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 7 years experience development with Microsoft SQL Server stack
- Significant demonstrated experience building solutions using SSAS
- 5 years building ETL solutions using SSIS
- 3 years with IBM Cognos development or appropriate BI solution substitute
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts
- Ability to effectively communicate with all teams within the organization
- Ability to research, analyze and integrate new technologies that would be relevant to the Data Warehouse team
