Position Summary
The Specialist, Media Strategy supports the media team throughout the planning, buying and analytics process. They work on assigned accounts and manage day-to-day media projects to make sure that deliverables are met. The Specialist, Media Strategy is expected to be an active participant on assigned accounts; consistently engaged and contributing ideas and insights that will benefit clients.

Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or similar
Experience:
- A minimum of one-year media planning and buying experience within digital media
- Experience at an agency (internships included) a plus
Position Responsibilities
Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:
- Assist with media planning activities including:
- Audience research
- Media vendor research
- Competitor identification and analysis
- Request for Proposal (RFP) development and evaluation
- Media plan and recommendation document development
- Asset planning and development (providing technical specs / direction to AE/PM as needed)
- Assist with media buying activities including:
- Media order creation and revisions in Advantage
- Vendor contracts and communications management
- Ad trafficking via Campaign Manager 360 (CM 360)
- Ad tag QA and handoff
- Launch confirmation and screenshot collection
- Ongoing pacing and optimizations of media campaigns
- Assist with media analytics activities including:
- Internal reporting and dashboard management
- Vendor reporting setup and management
- Monthly and quarterly client reports
- General tasks:
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Maintain media vendor information/contact database
- Research issues related to healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing
- Research healthcare trends and opportunities and provide relevant updates to client and agency teams
- Work with agency teams to provide guidance on client requests or media research
- Develop and/or refine checklists & best practice documents for media & digital jobs / tasks
- Take detailed notes during client-related meetings and send recap emails to the team following the meeting
