What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Division Manage position at Meduit?
Key Accountabilities:
- Understand and comply with Company Handbooks, Policies, and Procedures
- Full working knowledge of billing and insurance collections and terminology: including government and non-government regulations for hospital and physician-based entities
- Hiring and management of staff, overseeing competencies and performance expectations
- Communicates with leadership ensuring processes are properly managed and staffing needs are appropriately allocated to each project
- Participate in problem solving for clients to best meet profitability targets
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide insight to the daily operations to ensure effectiveness, continuous improvement and proactively assess and respond to concerns.
- Oversees the finalization and administration of invoices
- Prepare and submit bonus calculations for payment
- Support and monitor team and staff to ensure best practice workflows are implemented and sustained
- Model company values on an ongoing basis
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration or other relevant degree that delivers analytical skills and abilities.
- And 3-5 years’ experience: including appropriate healthcare transactions such as billing, insurance follow up, both government and non-government, hospital and physician, denials management, underpayments/zero payments, and other revenue cycle functions.
- Or, equivalent level of education and experience
- Prior P&L and budget management experience
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal skills required
- Effective persuasion and influence skill to drive change internally and client results externally
Special Position Requirements:
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
