Engineering Business Systems Analyst
Summary: KESG is currently undergoing a business transformation and has embraced an PLM/ERP re-implementation. In this Business/Systems Analyst role, your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, influencing the development of business processes, performing system configuration, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing on-going support to the Engineering team. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to all users. Your focus will be on PLM (e.g., Bluestar or INFOR) / CAD (e.g., AutoCAD and SolidWorks but can extend to other areas of the ERP system.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Business process.
- Understand PLM and PDM and perform requirements analysis.
- Develop the new business processes to be followed including documentation, management approval, testing and training.
- Build reports with Business intelligence software.
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects and manage competing resources and priorities.

Configuration.
- Support and improve the current engineering systems on Bluestar and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Participate in the new system configuration in INFOR to build the solution and ensure this solution meets the business requirements.
- Develop data migration among systems.
- Understand the system setup requirements.
- Take responsibility for configuration post-implementation maintenance.
- Ensure the solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Trouble shoot issues or build solutions within the software with vendors.
- Stay up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Master data governance.
- Implement and maintain the master data governance.

Manage stakeholders/SMEs.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Document and communicate the results of efforts.
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
- Work closely with Business Process departments and process owners
- Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes.
- Support user acceptance testing.
Computer Software and Application Skills:
- Experience using a PLM (e.g., Bluestar or INFOR) and the integration of CAD data into the PLM (using the PLM as a data vault) (e.g., AutoCAD and SolidWorks)
- Experience integrating PLM data into an ERP (e.g., INFOR, Microsoft Dynamics 365 AX, SAP, or other ERP)
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a must, preferably in an Engineer-to-Order or configure-to-order environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Has a good understanding of the purpose and goal of high-level project tasks (conversion, design/setup, business design documentation, customizations, interfaces, unit testing, acceptance testing, system/parallel testing, end user training, etc.).
- Desirable: Experience working with BI Software (Power BI, Tableau).
- Desirable: Experience SQL development to optimize database performance, analyze queries, security protocols and resolve problems.

Education/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with experience in engineering/product development.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Advanced technical skills.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Desirable: Experience with ERP conversions or implementations.
