Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities of a very busy, high volume casual dining restaurant.
- Manage and train 50-60 staff members to deliver excellent customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create and maintain employee schedules
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menu offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience in a management role within the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
